Inter Milan striker Alexis Sanchez was reportedly diagnosed as suffering from anemia. This problem was discovered through an examination carried out by the Chilean medical team.
This 34 year old player rejoined Inter Milan as a free agent after leaving French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille in the final days of last season’s transfer window.
He has never been called up to play for the Nerazzurri in Serie A, but did travel to Chile for international duty.
There are some concerns surrounding Alexis Sanchez ahead of the matches against Uruguay and Colombia, as hinted by coach Eduardo Berizzo in his latest press conference session ahead of the match.
“We are evaluating his condition. He has undergone tests and we want to be careful about his physical situation.” Berizzo said.
