The Pan American Fire arrives in Chile.
In an emotional and historic ceremony held at the Cerro Santa Lucía in the center of the Chilean capital, the President of Panam Sports Neven Ilic presents the Pan American Flame to the Chilean President Gabriel Boric.
The event was attended by prominent athletes from Team Chile, Ministers of State, sport leaders and the general public.
During the activity, a small cauldron and three torches were ignited that will travel to different corners of Chile to begin the traditional Torch Relay that will end on October 20 at the Opening Ceremony at the National Stadium in Santiago.
