NBCUniversal announced that Sunday, February 8, 2026 will feature an all-day slate presented in 4K HDR on NBC and Peacock, combining two of the biggest live events on its calendar: Super Bowl LX and coverage of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
The company said the day will begin with Winter Olympics coverage in the morning, continue through extensive pregame programming, and culminate with the Super Bowl in the evening, followed by additional Olympic programming later that night. The plan is designed to keep viewers inside a single, premium viewing experience for much of the day.

4K resolution can provide sharper detail—especially noticeable in wide shots of stadiums, crowds, and fast-moving action—while HDR aims to improve contrast and color range.
